Resolved Question: Where should we go skiing?

My husband and I want to take a ski trip and get away from the Texas sun. I've been skiing all my life in the Pacific Northwest so I want to go somewhere that I haven't been. We've narrowed down our areas to: Telluride, CO Park City, UT Somewhere in Vermont We are looking for the small snow town feel. We want to go somewhere that we can enjoy the lodge feel w/ a nice cup of coffee and a fire place...somewhere to relax. I am going to try to snowboard this time around so I'd say we want to go where the beginners are tolerated and welcomed (I've skiied in some snotty areas). The snow is important, but I think the feeling of a little village, some shopping around, night life and great eats are more important.
